Just a day after opening our new office we received a donation of Ms. Hildegard Poelmann from Ahlen. It includes books of the Count collected by her father,

Her father was so fascinated by Count von Luckner that he as a kid decided to become a seaman too. In 1931 he went on board of the "Training Ship Deutschland" starting his career there.

Now his books are in our archive - thank you very much, Ms. Poelmann!

We happy to receive both donations of material and money. This helps maintaining and improving our work.
