There are some news to tell.
Our group is increasing. The last time we met in Halle in "Franckesche Stiftungen," and the director of that historic place joined our group. I hope he will join us too when we found a "real" society.
We got three projects now:
- To erect a memorial in Halle for Felix Count von Luckner.
- To open a museum for the Count in Halle.
- To buy the "Seeteufel" - the hardest nut to crack.
Perhaps you know that the last ship of von Luckner was the "Seeteufel" (See Deavil). It was a schooner. This ship is still existing !!!
The Russians got it and we have heard, that the want to sell it - we do not know whether this is true or not.
It would be a sensation if we could buy that ship and rename it to "Seeteufel". With this ship we could travel to the places the Count visited at his travels and do public relation work for our projects and the Count. A dream indeed! But it could come true.
For all three purposes we need sponsors.
So, please, tell about our group to those who could be interested in. Pershaps a sponsor will be among them.
