Dear members and friends,

Our society was by the "Photo- und Dokumentenarchiv der Seefahrt" at Lübeck offered to join the "Boot" at Düsseldorf, a Boat Show, which is going to be between January 23 and 31 next year. It is the largest (boat show) fair in this vein.

It will be a unique chance, to introduce our society and our work to a larger public. We do not want to miss that chance and say thanks to the archive at Lübeck mentioned above which is preparing an exhibition about Count von Luckner for the "Boot", so we can comlement one another. Our society will tell about the project "Seeteufel", we are sure, the press and the public will be highly interested it that.

We have been asked if we would like to organize a meeting of members of our society at the "Boot". We could get a free room there and probably cheaper entrance fees.

We hereby ask you whether you have the chance of joining the "Boot" and coming to Düsseldorf that time. If yes, please give us detailed information on which days you could be in Düsseldorf. Than we can decide whether to organize a meeting or not and on which day.

Of course, there would be enough time to visit the "Boot" as well.
