Dear members, dear friends,
 
It is the law for registered societies to hold a general meeting once a year, the so called "Jahreshauptversammlung".
 
The general meeting for this year will be hold on next Wednesday, November 23, 2005 in Halle, at restaurant "Ackerbürgerhof".
 
We know that you as our foreign members will probably not have the chance to participate, but nevertheless you hereby are invited and we would be most happy to have you with us.
 
We will talk about the development of the society in last year and about actual plans and intentions. Among others we will vote for uprating of the annual fee for German members from 5.00 to 10.00 EUR a year. For foreign members the membership will be FREE also in the future, nothing will change.

Furthermore, we will start to prepare the "Count von Luckner Year 2006". As you will know we are going to have to celebrations or anniversaries. The first will be in April, the 40th anniversary of the death of the Count. This we plan to celebrate in Hamburg at the grave of von Luckner. The second will be the 125th anniversary of the birth of the Count in June.
 
We will keep you informed about our work, please, be with us in your minds on next Wednesday.
