At the moment we are offered a part of the assets of Count von Luckner. It is a huge amount of things. For example:
- 17 big folders with documents and photos.
- Photos of the Count (autographs), signed and not signed. (1924-1949)
- Letters of the America (Vaterland/Mopelia) trip.
- Picture postcards, photos of the 20ies.
- Photos of guests, all together at least 2000 pictures (probably many more!), photos from 1949-1966, photos of the ship Vaterland/Mopelia, other documents of this trip.
- Photos of the cars (mobile home and Volkswagen Beetle), private letters to Ingeborg.
- Photos of the wedding ceremony. Others from Malmö, also big ones.
- Luckner stickers
- Member cards of several societies.
- Box including big photos in folders. Newspapers, drawings
- and much, much more.
Unfortunately, we are not able to get this stuff financed. Probably and depending on the results of our negotiations all together it will be a price of between 10 and 15 thousand EURO. Much, but cheaper than buying the things separately in ebay.com.
We need your help.
Please support the purchase with a DONATION or with creating contacts to persons/companies who might be willing to help us.
It would be great to have these things for our planned museum or for exhibitions, a really unique chance!
Of course those who helped will be published in our homepage and, later on, in out museum or in exhibition.

there were the first responses to our request, thank you.
Furthermore, there were questions, so I think I did not explain in the right way, what "finance means"; I am sorry for that.
I meant, that the items cannot be financed ("Finance" means "paid" or "bought", did I translate it correctly?) without any donations.
If we do not get any donations, the items will be lost for us, because we are not able to pay the price ourselves. We only take 10.00 EUR from Germany residents, non-German-residents are free members at all. This will not change, but we are forced to look for other opportunities to get money for purposes like the one being described here.
Any donations will be used ONLY for buying the items for the von Luckner museum we intend to open in the future. First they would be brought into our archive.
It is possible to transfer the money in most cases to our bank using the international bank codes.
